KURT BAUER is Senior Vice President of Field Operations for Nomadix,
Inc. He joined Nomadix with extensive senior management experience and
knowledge of the communications industry. He is responsible for the
company's worldwide sales and marketing efforts, as well as Nomadix'
market and business development initiatives. Before joining Nomadix, Mr.
Bauer served as Vice President and General Manager of Proxim, and was
responsible for worldwide sales, marketing, business development and
customer service. Prior to that, he was accountable for the remote
access business for Ascend Communications and, after Ascend was acquired
by Lucent Technologies, he served as Vice President of Marketing. Mr.
Bauer has also held executive positions with Whitetree, Adaptive, ACC
