Kent Buckles – Invesmart Inc

KENT BUCKLES is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Invesmart, Inc. With over 20 years of experience in the retirement services field, he has served in a variety of capacities enabling him to effectively lead the Invesmart team. His background includes strong operational and financial experience combined with a keenly diverse understanding of the retirement financial industry. In 1988, Mr. Buckles joined Howard Johnson & Company, a benefits consulting and administration firm. Following a successful period of leading the operations and benefits consulting practice, he was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer. He additionally served on the Board of Directors. The Howard Johnson firm was purchased by Merrill Lynch in 1998. At that time, he was asked to continue to serve as President and CEO. Prior to this position, Mr. Buckles served as a Technical Sales Associate for seven years at Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company and was an Attorney for the group pension division at Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance. Mr. Buckles began his career at Hardwick & Conrad in Seattle, Washington, as an Attorney specializing in benefits, securities and employment law.
