Kenneth Wilcox – Silicon Valley Bank (sivb)

KENNETH P. WILCOX is President and Chief Executive Officer of Silicon Valley Bank. Mr. Wilcox is responsible for all sales and marketing activities of the bank's several lending practices, including software, online, life sciences, semiconductor, computers and peripherals, and special industries, as well as credit administration, human resources, and operation. Mr. Wilcox joined the bank in 1990 as a co-Founder and Manager of the Bank's East Coast Technology Group, known as Silicon Valley East. From that office in the Boston suburb of Wellesley, he was responsible for all lending activity east of the Mississippi River. In December of 1993, Mr. Wilcox was named to the Managing Committee of the Bank. Mr. Wilcox has been lending exclusively to technology and life sciences companies since 1983. Prior to joining Silicon Valley Bank, Mr. Wilcox was a member of the Technology Lending Group with The Bank of New England. He began his banking career in the Technology Lending Group with Shawmut Bank. Mr. Wilcox attended Ohio State University and received a PhD in German Studies in 1977. Mr. Wilcox: The company has been in existence for 17 years. It was

founded in 1983 with the explicit purpose of
