Kenneth Kelley – Intrabiotics Pharmaceuticals Inc (ibpi)

KENNETH J. KELLEY is Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer, Chairman of the Board of IntraBiotics Pharmceuticals, Inc. Mr. Kelley is an entrepreneur, former venture capitalist and molecular biologist. Prior to founding IntraBiotics in 1994, he co-founded Calydon, a biotechnology company focused on prostate cancer where he remains a director. Mr. Kelley was a Senior Associate at Institutional Venture Partners (IVP) from 1988 to 1993. He invested with the IVP general partners more than $40 million in 16 life science start-up companies, including 13 that are now publicly traded companies. He also served as Chief Operating Officer for CV Therapeutics, a cardiovascular biotechnology company, in its first year of operations. Mr. Kelley has also held positions at McKinsey & Company, an international consulting firm, and at Integrated Genetics (now Genzyme, Inc.). He holds an MBA degree from Stanford University and a BA degree in Biochemical Sciences from Harvard University. Profile
