KEITH AINSWORTH is President and Chief Executive Officer of COM DEV
International Ltd. Since joining COM DEV as an engineer in 1975, Mr.
Ainsworth has held a number of management and executive positions within
the corporation. The positions include Manager of Satellite
Communications, Vice President of Satellite and Defense Programs and
President of COM DEV's Space division. In 1995, he began shaping the
company's non-space business, particularly in the areas of remote
sensing and wireless communications. Three years later, Mr. Ainsworth
became Deputy Chairman of COM DEV International and was appointed its
CEO in June 1999. Born and educated in England, Mr. Ainsworth attended
the Cambridge College of Technology. While at Cambridge, he studied
electrical and electronic engineering under the sponsorship of Standard
Telecommunications Laboratories Ltd., where he worked on advanced
technologies for both commercial and military communications systems
until his graduation. Mr. Ainsworth is a member of the American
Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He served as Chairman of
Radarsat International and worked for five years as Vice Chairman of the
