GERALD F. MAHONEY has been Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive
Officer of Mail-Well, Inc. since February 1994. He served as Chairman of
the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Pavey Envelope from
January 1991 to February 1994. From January 1990 to the present, he has
also served as President of Saddle River Capital, an investment firm.
From June 1987 through 1989, Mr. Mahoney was President of Transkrit
Corp., a business forms manufacturing company. Mahoney, 55, is a CPA who
graduated from Adelphi University and received a Master's degree from
Northeastern University. He started his career and spent seven years with
Arthur Andersen & Co., a period interrupted by service in the U.S. Marine
Corps during the Vietnam War. He spent ten years with a Fortune 500
manufacturing company in various financial and general management roles,
including CFO and President of their largest division. Mahoney grew up in
the Bayridge area of Brooklyn but lived in northern New Jersey for the 22
years prior to becoming the top officer of Mail-Well and moving to the
Denver, Colorado area. He and his wife of 27 years, JoAnne, have two
