John Rossman Huff – Oceaneering International Inc (oii)

JOHN ROSSMAN HUFF is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Oceaneering International, Inc. Oceaneering, together with its affiliate companies, is one of the world's largest contractors providing services to customers operating in harsh environments. He has been in the offshore services industry since 1968. Prior to joining Oceaneering in 1986, Mr. Huff served as Chairman and President of Western Oceanic, Inc., a worldwide offshore contract drilling company, from 1972 to 1986. Mr. Huff attended Rice University and received his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech University in 1968. He subsequently attended Harvard Business School's Program for Management Development in 1977. An active offshore energy industry spokesman, Mr. Huff is a past Director of the National Ocean Industries Association, International Association of Drilling Contractors, and previously served on the U.S. Department of Transportation's National Offshore Safety Advisory Committee. He is currently on the Board of the American Bureau of Shipping in New York, New York. Mr. Huff has been a recipient of many awards recognizing superior leadership and business achievement. His most recent honors are the 1998 ASME Rhodes Petroleum Industry Leadership Award, 1996 Georgia Tech 'Distinguished Engineering Alumni,' Financial World's 1995 Chief Executive Officer of the Year, 1994 Professional Review's Top 100 Texas Public Company CEOs and 1994 ASME/University of Houston's Career Achievement Award.
