JOHN M. MORPHY is Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and
Secretary of Paychex, Inc. Mr. Morphy joined Paychex in October
1995 and was elected Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and
Secretary in October 1996. From 1985 to 1995, he was Vice
President - Finance at Goulds Pumps, Inc., an independent public
company, which manufactures pumps for the global industrial,
commercial, and water supply markets. Mr. Morphy served as Vice
President - Controller of Computer Consoles, Inc., an independent
public company manufacturing equipment for the telecommunications
and office automation markets from 1976 to 1985. From 1969 to
1976, he was at Arthur Andersen & Company, Big Five accounting
firm, as Assistant Accountant, Senior Accountant and Manager. Mr.
Morphy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from
LeMoyne College and is a CPA. He serves on the United Way of
Greater Rochester Board of Directors, LeMoyne College Board of
Directors and the NASDAQ Issuers & Affairs Committee. Profile
