JOHN W. KENNEDY is President and Chief Executive Officer of Hemosol Inc.
Mr. Kennedy received his Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology
at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton in 1979, then joined
Syntex Canada as Manager, Quality Assurance. In 1984 he obtained a
Master's degree in Molecular Biology from McMaster University in
Hamilton, Ontario, joining Cyanamid Canada that same year. At Cyanamid,
he rose through the ranks and in 1992 became Director of Global Oncology
for the Lederle Pharmaceuticals Division at its international
headquarters in Wayne, New Jersey. In 1994, Mr. Kennedy returned to
Canada as General Manager of Serono Canada Inc., and latterly as Vice
President Marketing-Endocrinology at the company's regional headquarters
in Norwell, Massachusetts. Profile
