JOHN BUCKSBAUM is Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative
Officer of General Growth Properties, Inc. and serves on the Company's
Board of Directors. Mr. Bucksbaum also serves as Chairman of General
Growth Management, Inc. Mr. Bucksbaum is a 20-year veteran of General
Growth companies. He also has served as president of General Growth of
California. Mr. Bucksbaum received his Bachelor's degree in Economics
from the University of Denver, Denver, Colorado. He is a member of the
International Council of Shopping Centers, the National Association of
Real Estate Investments Trusts, the Executive Committee of the National
Realty Council, the University of California Real Estate Center, the
Executive Committee of the Wharton School Advisory Board and the Urban
Land Institute. In addition to his professional affiliations, Mr.
Bucksbaum is a member of the National Board of World T.E.A.M. Sports, a
