JIM COLLINS joined SIRIUS Satellite Radio Inc. in February 2002 as Vice
President of Corporate Communications, with responsibility for external
communications. He has over 20 years' experience in national and
international corporate communications and public relations, having
worked in the airline industry, the hotel and resort sector, and
telecommunications. Mr. Collins served as Vice President of Corporate
Communications at Frontier Communications until its acquisition by
Global Crossing in 1999. After the merger, he became Vice President of
Corporate Communications for Global Crossing Europe, where he directed
the global telecom company's communications activities in 13 European
countries. Mr. Collins also served as Director of Corporate
Communications for the Network and Information Technology divisions of
MCI Communications. While at MCI, he supported communications for the
company's regulatory, legal and financial organizations before heading
up the company's technology communications in 1994. He also served as
Director of Corporate Communications for Meridien Hotels, and held
public relations management positions at Air France in Europe and the
