Jerry De St. Paer – Xl Capital Ltd (xl)

JERRY DE ST. PAER is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of XL Capital Ltd. Prior to joining XL Capital Ltd., Mr. De St. Paer was a Managing Director of Hudson International, a boutique insurance investment banking firm. He was also a Managing Director in the Insurance Division of the Financial Institutions Group of JP Morgan. Prior to that he served as Senior Executive Vice President and CFO of The Equitable Companies Incorporated. He was also Executive Vice President of AXA, responsible for global corporate development. He was a Director of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Alliance Capital Management, Equitable Real Estate Investment Management, Inc., National Mutual Holdings, National Mutual Asia, and Nicos Seimei Hoken KK. Mr. de St. Paer joined The Equitable in 1986 as CFO of Equitable Investment Management Corporation. He was elected Senior Vice President and Treasurer of Equitable Life in 1990, and in 1991 Executive Vice President and head of Corporate Development responsible for coordinating Equitable's demutualization and public stock offering. In 1992, he was named CFO of Equitable Life and Executive Vice President and CFO of The Equitable Companies. Mr. de St. Paer received a BA degree in 1964 from North Central College (Illinois) and an MA degree in 1966 from Johns Hopkins University's Paul H.
