JENNY LAWHORN is the Manager of Public and Media Relations for
NPR (National Public Radio). She has been with NPR since 1998,
and before that worked in public relations at NPR member station
WNYC AM/FM in New York and reported on local news for WVTF-FM in
Roanoke, Virginia. She graduated from the University of Virginia
