JEFFREY R. RODEK, President and Worldwide CEO of Ingram Micro, oversees
and manages the company's worldwide operations. His extensive background
in logistics and financial planning and his passion for customer
satisfaction are instrumental in maintaining Ingram Micro's success. Mr.
Rodek joined Ingram Micro as president and chief operating officer in
January 1995. Over the past three years, he has been integral in the
successful global growth of Ingram Micro, overseeing more than a dozen
acquisitions around the world. In addition, Mr. Rodek is credited with
being a key driver in the development and expansion of the company's
global electronic-commerce and channel-assembly initiatives. Before
joining Ingram Micro, he spent 16 years at Federal Express Corp. in
several key executive positions, the last of which was senior vice
president of operations, the Americas. After the acquisition of the
Flying Tigers Line by Federal Express, he served as president and chief
executive officer of the FTL until the integration of the companies. He
earned a bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's in
Business Administration, with an emphasis in Finance, from The Ohio
State University. In addition, Rodek sits on the board of EXE
Technologies and Hyperion Solutions. He is a member of the Alexis De
Tocqueville Committee for the 1998-1999 campaign for the United Way of
Orange County and will serve as its campaign chairman during the
1999-2000 campaign. Rodek also served on the board of trustees of the
