JEFFREY BUCHANAN – THREE-FIVE SYSTEMS INC (TFS)

JEFFREY D. BUCHANAN is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Three-Five Systems, Inc., responsible for all global financial activities, as well as worldwide administration, legal affairs and management information systems. He joined the company in May 1996 as Vice President of Administration and Legal Affairs. Prior to joining TFS, Mr. Buchanan was a Senior Partner at the Phoenix-based law firm of O'Connor, Cavanagh, Anderson, Westover, Killingsworth & Beshears. His 10 years of practice with the firm were focused on general corporate transactions with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and taxation. His 16 years of experience also included working for the accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche and the international law firm of Davis Wright Tremaine in Seattle, Washington. Mr. Buchanan earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Arizona State University and a Law degree from the University of Arizona College of Law. He passed the Certified Public Accountants exam in Washington in 1983. He also received a Master's degree in Tax Law from the University of Florida College of Law. A member of the State Bars of Arizona and Washington, Mr. Buchanan is a published author whose work includes contributions to the New York University Tax Institute, The Practical Tax Lawyer and The Arizona Law Review.
