JASON DEVITT, CEO of Vindigo, Inc., conceived and designed the first
version of Vindigo with his partner David Joerg in June 1999. He
negotiated Vindigo's first major content partnerships, articulated the
company's vision and secured Vindigo's first venture investments from
General Atlantic Partners and Flatiron Partners. As CEO, Mr. Devitt is
responsible for the overall direction and leadership of the company. A
frequent speaker at industry conferences, he is a leading evangelist for
the delivery of location-based services to wireless devices. Prior to
founding Vindigo, Mr. Devitt worked at the technology-driven investment
bank D.E. Shaw & Co., where he designed and sold financial derivatives.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering and a Master's
degree in Engineering Science from the University College Dublin and a
Diploma in Law from The Honorable Society of King's Inns. Profile
