JAMES W. PELL joined R2 Technology in May 1996 as President and Chief
Executive Officer. Mr. Pell has also served on the Board of Directors of
the Company since 1994. From 1990 to 1996, he was President and Chief
Executive Officer of NeuroCom International, Inc., a private, venture-
funded manufacturer of diagnostic and rehabilitation devices for balance
disorders. Mr. Pell holds a B.A. degree in Physics from the University
