JAMES R. OYLER, is President and Chief Executive Officer of Evans &
Sutherland Computer Corporation, a position he has held since December
1994. Under Mr. Oyler's direction, the company has grown dramatically
and was recently ranked number one in its industry. Evans & Sutherland,
formed in 1968, is well known as one of Utah's leading technology
companies, and has been the source of many of the leaders and new
company formations in the computer graphics industry. Mr. Oyler's entire
career has been involved with technology companies. He obtained a
Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering in 1967, followed
by a Master's degree in economics from Cambridge University, England, in
1969. He then spent three years as an officer in the U.S. Army. His
business career included work with the international management
consulting firm of Booz, Allen, & Hamilton, located in New York City,
followed by fifteen years with Harris Corporation, a Fortune 500
supplier of military and commercial electronics systems. His most recent
position at Harris was sector executive for the information systems
sector, which employed approximately 8,000 people. Mr. Oyler is a former
national director of the American Electronics Association and is a
member of the board of directors of IKOS Systems, Inc. He is listed in
