JAMES A. HOPWOOD has been associated with Wickes Inc. for over 16 years
and has held management positions in accounting, finance, investor
relations, real estate, strategic planning, treasury activities, credit
and MIS. Currently, he is Vice President ' Finance and Treasurer. Mr.
Hopwood also spent three years with Goldman, Sachs & Co. He holds an MBA
from the University of Chicago and is a member of the Investment
Analysts Society of Chicago, the Association for Investment Management
and Research, and the National Investor Relations Institute. Profile
