James Davis – Parker Drilling Company (pkd)

JAMES J. DAVIS is Senior Vice President-Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Parker Drilling Company. Mr. Davis joined Parker Drilling in 1991. Mr. Davis previously served as Vice President and Treasurer for MAPCO Inc., a diversified energy company with interests in natural gas liquids marketing and transportation, coal, oil refining and retail motor fuel marketing. From 1981 to 1986, Mr. Davis served as Manager- Finance and Insurance for Mesa Petroleum Co., and was involved in raising financing for Mesa's active acquisition efforts during that time. Prior to that, Mr. Davis held positions in the domestic and international Treasury Department of Gulf Oil Corporation. Mr. Davis holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado and an MS degree in Industrial Administration from Purdue University. Mr. Davis is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Oklahoma, and serves as a Director for Dollar Thrifty Finance Company. He is also a member of Financial Executives International. Profile
