JAMES A. BILLMAIER has served as the CEO of Asymetrix Learning Systems,
Inc. since 1995. Mr. Billmaier has been focused on leading Asymetrix to
the forefront of the emerging market of Online Learning. Prior to
joining Asymetrix, he served in a number of executive management
positions with Sun Microsystems, MIPS Computer Systems and Digital
Equipment Corporation. Mr. Billmaier's previous experience includes vice
president and general manager of Sun's Network Products Business as well
as serving in the same capacity in the Internet Software Product Group.
Prior to that, he was vice president of marketing and business
development for Sunsoft, Sun Microsystems' software business division.
Mr. Billmaier also spent three years as the vice president of software
marketing and business development at MIPS Computer Systems and six
years with Digital Equipment Corporation, where he was responsible for
DEC's UNIX workstation products and strategies. Profile
