J. DOUGLAS WHISENANT was named Senior Vice President of Williams
Gas Pipeline operations in December 2001. Mr. Whisenant
previously served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of
the company's western United States gas pipeline operations from
1992. He was Vice President of Finance and Administration from
1983 to 1992, Assistant Treasurer from 1981 to 1983 and Manager
of Financial Forecasting from 1978 to 1980. Prior to joining
Williams in 1978, Mr. Whisenant worked in the consulting division
of Arthur Andersen & Company. Mr. Whisenant earned his Bachelor's
degree in Economics in 1970 and his MBA in 1972 from Brigham
Young University in Provo, Utah. Profile
