CHARLES D. YIE is General Partner at Ampersand Ventures. Mr. Yie has
more than 18 years of private equity experience, joined Ampersand's
predecessor in 1985, and has served on the Boards of over 20 companies,
including serving as Chairman of Kroy Building Products and Moldflow
(NASDAQ). He is currently Chairman of Nuvex and a Director of Endeca,
Ensemble Communications, firstRain, Moldflow, Protient and Silicon Wave.
Formerly a systems engineer and manufacturing specialist at Hewlett-
Packard, his education combines a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MS
