CHRISTOPHER THOMPSON joined FA Technology Ventures in October 2001.
Prior to joining the firm, he was a Director at American Power
Conversion in the Enterprise Systems Group. There he focused on power
system sales, marketing, and infrastructure design. He also worked with
APC in Singapore and Japan and led regional product launches. His
expertise includes technology marketing and reliability engineering, and
he has published a number of papers on power system and datacenter
design. Previously he was a Fulbright Scholar researching economic
development in Asia. He graduated summa cum laude with a BS in
Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University and his MBA
in Finance from the University of Chicago. Mr. Thompson also performed
graduate research in electrical engineering at the National University
