Howard Welt – N2h2 Inc (ntwo) (ntwo)

HOWARD PHILIP WELT joined N2H2, Inc., as President and Chief Executive Officer in May 2001, overseeing the strategic direction and management of the company. He brings to N2H2 a proven track record in running profitable organizations, both growing revenues and controlling costs. With Microsoft Corporation from 1983 through 1996, he quickly rose to hold positions as General Manager of Microsoft Mexico, Director of Latin America South, and Director of Worldwide Sales for Softimage, a Microsoft subsidiary. During his tenure at Microsoft, he brought success to the sales, channel marketing, product design and product marketing efforts he managed, including successful launches of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project. In Director and General Manager roles, he exceeded revenue and margin targets by over 400%. His longtime involvement in education as a tutor and advisor in several Seattle-area schools provides a foundation for understanding N2H2's roots in the education market. Mr. Welt received an MBA and the Arjay Miller Scholar award from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA, magna cum laude, from Yale University. Profile
