HARVEY DOERR is the President of Murphy Oil Company Ltd., which is the
Canadian based subsidiary of Murphy Oil Corporation, of El Dorado,
Arkansas. He has been with the company since 1989 and has held various
positions during his tenure. These include General Manager-Foreign
Operations & Special Projects from 1995 to 1997, Manager-Foreign
Operations from 1994 to 1995, Senior Engineer where he worked on special
projects including Syncrude, Hibernia, and Terra Nova from 1993 to 1994,
Manager of District Operations from 1990 to 1993, and his first
assignment as Senior Engineer during 1989. Prior to joining Murphy in
1989, Mr. Doerr was a Senior Project Engineer for Husky Oil Operations
Ltd., in Lloydminster, Alberta, and also worked for Hudson's Bay Oil and
Gas (formerly Dome Petroleum Ltd.) as a Petroleum Engineer in Calgary.
Mr. Doerr received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from
the University of Alberta in 1981, and has a total of 17 years of
industry experience. Him affiliations include: APEGGA (Association of
Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta); Board
Member of Syncrude Canada; represents Murphy on the Hibernia Executive
