DR HARALD SOMMERER is the Chief Financial Officer of AT&S AG. He
graduated from the University of Economics, with a degree in Economics
and Social Sciences, specialising in Controlling and Management. He
also holds a doctorate in Economics and Social Sciences and Master in
Management from the J.L Kellogg Graduate School of Management at
Northwestern University. Dr Sommerer joined the Trainee Program at
Creditanstalt-Bankverein, and then spent three years in the Forex-
Trading department. He then joined Bain & Company as a consultant,
leaving in 1997 to take up the position of Member of the Managing Board
in charge of Merger & Acquisitions, treasury, Investor Relations
Management, Personnel, Purchase. He is married with two children. Profile
