GREGORY J. TIBBITTS has served as Vice President of Finance and Chief
Financial Officer of Elitra Pharmaceuticals since January 2001. Before
this position, Mr. Tibbitts was Director of Finance from April 2000 to
January 2001. Prior to joining Elitra, Mr. Tibbitts was a Senior Manager
with Ernst & Young LLP in San Diego, serving the biotechnology, internet
and telecommunications industries from 1996 to 2000. Mr. Tibbitts was
the Controller of a division of ITT Financial prior to 1996, and worked
with Ernst & Young previously in both Los Angeles and San Diego from
1989 to 1993. Mr. Tibbitts has an M.B.A. in Finance from San Diego State
University, and a B.B.A. from the University of San Diego. Profile
