GREGORY M. EVANS has been President and Chief Executive Officer
of the Robert Mondavi Corp., since May 2001. He first worked for
Robert Mondavi Winery in 1978 as Bottling and Warehouse
Supervisor; returned during the summer of 1979 to work on special
projects in the finance area; resumed full-time employment with
Robert Mondavi Winery in July 1980 as Corporate Planning Manager;
assumed duties as Vice President, Finance in January 1984; and
became Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration on
December 12, 1990 and Chief Operating Officer in July 1998. Mr.
Evans worked in his family business in food manufacturing and the
wholesale grocery business (Evans Food Company). He worked for
Major Products Corporation in production. Major Products
Corporation is a manufacturer and supplier of food items to
restaurants. Mr. Evans is a member of the Wine Industry Financial
Group; a member of Napa Valley Wine Auction Health Care Fund
Committee and a past member of the Board of Directors of Napa
Valley Bank. Mr. Evans attended the University of California at
Davis; graduated from University of California at Berkeley in
1971 with a BA in English; and graduated with distinction from
Harvard Business School with an MBA in 1980. Profile
