GREGOR ALEXANDER joined the Board of Scottish and Southern Energy plc as
Finance Director in October 2002. He joined Scottish Hydro-Electric plc
in 1990 as Tax Manager six months before privatisation, becoming Group
Treasurer and Tax Manager in 1998. Appointed Group Treasurer and Tax
Manager of Scottish and Southern Energy plc after the merger of Scottish
Hydro-Electric plc and Southern Electric plc in December 1998. Prior to
joining Scottish Hydro-Electric he worked with accountants Arthur
Andersen for five years where he qualified after graduating from Glasgow
