GLENN M. DARDEN assumed the role of President and Chief Operating
Officer of Quicksilver Resources Inc. in January 1998 and became Chief
Executive Officer in 1999. He spent 16 years with Mercury, having served
as Executive Vice President from 1991 to 1997. Before joining Mercury,
he worked as a Geologist for Mitchell Energy Corporation. Mr. Darden
graduated from Tulane University with a BA in Earth Sciences in 1979.
His charitable and civic duties include director and treasurer of the
Lena Pope Home, an organization that aids abused children, and serves on
the board of governors for the Fort Worth Boat Club. Profile
