DR. GERSHON WELTMAN is the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the
Board of Perceptronics, of which he was an original founder in 1970.
Prior to founding Perceptronics, he was a member of the engineering
faculty at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he taught
human factors engineering and other courses, and a consultant to
industry in the areas of human factors and biomedical engineering. At
Perceptronics, in addition to his administrative role, Dr. Weltman has
served as scientific and/or technical director for a number of major
R&D programs focused on developing innovative computer-based
simulators for team and individual training. Dr. Weltman is currently
serving his second two-year term on the U.S. Army Science Board, a
group that advises the U.S. Army on scientific and technological
issues. Dr. Weltman received his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in

TWST: Give us a brief summary on the company today? Dr. Weltman: Perceptronics is a leader in simulation technology,
particularly in the technology of large scale real time
