Gerrard O’keefe – Stentor Plc (stn.l)

Gerard O'Keefe joined Stentor during its start up phase in July 1996. Stentor is now a multinational telecommunications company providing solutions for corporate customers. While holding the position of Technical Director he was responsible for gaining the requisite licensing, designing the network and developing Stentor's products and services. As Chief Operating Officer, Gerard restructured the company to focus on high value Business Solutions and E-commerce. Gerard now holds the position of Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for all aspects of the company's business. Gerard is 32 years old and graduated from Dublin City University in 1987 with a degree in Electronics Engineering. He spent three years with Nortel in their Research and Design facility in Galway. From May 1990 to July 1996, Gerard was employed by Aer Lingus the National Airline of Ireland, responsible for developing a Broadband network connecting all of the airline's locations. Profile
TWST: Why don't you start by giving us a brief overview of Stentor, a

little bit of history. What are your main activities and where do you

see yourselves today?
