Gerhard J. Von Der Ruhr – Criticare Systems (cxim)

GERHARD J. VON DER RUHR is founder of Criticare Systems, Inc. and has served as Chairman of the Board and President since the company's inception in October 1984. Criticare develops, manufactures and markets portable patient monitoring instruments for use in hospitals and other health care settings. From 1976 to 1984, Mr. Von der Ruhr served as President of Biochem International, Inc. (BCI), a manufacturer of medical monitoring equipment. Before then, he was a vice president of Zimmer International-USA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Bristol-Myers Company, and held various management positions at the General Electric Company and the Ford Motor Company. Mr. Von der Ruhr holds an M.B.A. from the University of Cologne. He is a past recipient of Arthur P. Young's 'Entrepreneur of the Year Award of Wisconsin.' Profile
