Gerald W. Schwartz – Onex Corporation (ocx)

GERALD W. SCHWARTZ is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Onex Corporation. Mr. Schwartz, a native of Winnipeg, Canada, received his B.A. and LL.B. degrees from the University of Manitoba and his M.B.A. degree from Harvard University. He founded Onex in 1983 and its predecessor in 1977. Prior to that, he worked in mergers and acquisitions on Wall Street for seven years and practiced law in Canada before that. Mr. Schwartz is Vice-Chairman and Member of the Executive Committee of Mount Sinai Hospital and is a Director, Governor, or Trustee of a number of other organizations, including Junior Achievement, Canadian Council of Christians and Jews and The Starlight Foundation.
