Gerald Johnston – The Clorox Company (clx)

GERALD E. JOHNSTON has been President and Chief Operating Officer of The Clorox Company since February 1999. Mr. Johnston joined Clorox in 1981 following 10 years with The Procter & Gamble Company. At Clorox, he has held several management positions in both operating divisions and business development. He was elected Vice President-Corporate Development and Planning in 1992, Vice President-Kingsford Products in 1993, and Group Vice President and a member of the Management Executive Committee in 1996. Mr. Johnston holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from California State University at Fullerton. He attended the University of Southern California Graduate School of Business.
