GEORGE KADIFA is Chairman, President and CEO of Corio, Inc. Prior to
Corio, he was Senior Vice President of Oracle's Industrial Sector
Worldwide, where he led the company's largest and fastest growing
vertical business unit covering the company's software and services
offerings to the high-tech, automotive, and aerospace and defense
industries. Mr. Kadifa has also advised senior executives of Fortune 500
companies in the areas of technology, strategy, and business processes
as a management consultant with Booz-Allen & Hamilton. Mr. Kadifa's long
track record in the development and application of leading-edge
computing and information technologies was achieved at some of the
finest R&D centers in the world. At the Advanced Computing Research
Facility at Argonne National Laboratories, he focused on parallel
processing technologies. At Xerox, he received the Xerox Inventor Award
and was awarded two US patents in operating system software and user
interface. Mr. Kadifa was also a member of the research staff at the
Advanced Research and Development Laboratory of Fairchild Corporation,
where he performed R&D work in computer networking and computer
architectures. In March 2001, Mr. Kadifa was chosen as Chairman of the
Information Technology Association of America's ASP Board of Directors.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the
American University of Beirut, a Master of Science degree in Electrical
Engineering from the California Institute of Technology, and a Master of
Business Administration degree from the Graduate School of Business at
