George Calhoun – Isco International Inc (isco)

GEORGE CALHOUN is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of ISCO International, Inc. Dr. Calhoun joined ISCO in 1999, with more than 20 years in high-tech wireless systems development. Recognized as a leading wireless technologist, he co-founded two public wireless technology companies involved in the early development of TDMA, W-CDMA, and FHMA. His career has focused on all aspects of digital wireless architecture development. Dr. Calhoun served as Chairman of a large Israel-based engineering joint venture, and has been involved in creating and managing wireless service businesses in Korea, Germany and the UK. Dr. Calhoun is the author of two best-selling technical books on digital wireless technology and the forthcoming 3rd Generation Wireless Systems: Vol. 1 - Post-Shannon Architectures. In addition, he was a founding partner of DaVinci Solutions LLC, a consulting firm specializing in wireless telecommunications. Dr. Calhoun holds a PhD in Systems Science from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania as well as a BA from the same university.
