Gary Greenfield – Merant Plc (mrnt)

GARY GREENFIELD is the President and CEO of MERANT plc, having been named to that position in November 1998. With more than 20 years' experience in software development and services, he has held senior management positions, most recently as CEO of INTERSOLV, which merged with Micro Focus to form MERANT in February 1999. Mr. Greenfield's earlier career included a variety of senior management positions, including a subsidiary of United Telecommunications and Execucom Systems. He also serves on the board of directors for Hyperion Solutions, Inc., Managed Object Solutions, Inc., Mobius Management Systems, Inc., and is Chairman of the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA), a trade association representing the US information technology industry. Mr. Greenfield is a graduate of the US Naval Academy. He holds a master's of science degree in information systems management from George Washington University and a master's of business administration degree from Harvard Business School. Profile
