FRANK GLEESON has served as President and Chief Executive Officer
of MDS Proteomics Inc. since September 1999. From September 1994
to August 1999, Mr. Gleeson was Senior Vice President of MDS
Capital Corp., a venture capital company 47% owned by MDS Inc.
where he was responsible for financing and building numerous
early stage biotechnology and biomedical businesses. Prior to
joining MDS Capital Corp. in September 1994, Mr. Gleeson worked
for ICI Plc, an international pharmaceutical and chemicals
manufacturer. As an operating executive, he had global profit and
loss responsibility and worked extensively with emerging
technologies in a wide range of fields. Mr. Gleeson is a member
of the Board of Directors for StemNet, the Stem Cell Network of
Centres of Excellence of Canada. Mr. Gleeson has a BBA (honours)

TWST: Could we start out with a brief historical sketch of MDS Proteomics, and an overview of the company as it is now?
Mr. Gleeson: MDS Proteomics was established in August 1999, so
