DR. FRANCIS E. O'DONNELL is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of
BioDelivery Sciences International, Inc. Dr. O'Donnell is a 1975
graduate of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He received his
specialty training at the Wilmer Ophthalmological Institute, Johns
Hopkins Hospital. He is a former Professor and Chairman of the
Department of Ophthalmology, St Louis University School of Medicine. He
is the Founder and Managing Partner of The Hopkins Capital Group( HCG),
LLC, a leading biotech investment/business development company. The HCG
specializes in early-stage investments in disruptive innovations in
healthcare. He has been granted 33 US patents. He was recipient of the
2000 Jules Stein Vision Award. He serves on the Boards of Trustees of
