EVERETT DOBSON has served as a director and officer of Dobson
Communications Corporation since 1982. From 1990 to 1996, he served as a
Director, President and Chief Operating Officer of the company and
President of the company's cellular subsidiaries. He was elected
Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of the Company in
April 1996. Mr. Dobson served on the Board of the Cellular
Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA) in 1993 and 1994. He
holds a BA in Economics from Southwestern Oklahoma State University,
where he currently sits on the SWOSU Foundation Board and chairs the
