EMMA GRIFFIN is head of the European technology group which comprises 12
analysts based in London, France, Holland and Germany and coverage of
over 80 stocks. Since joining HSBC in 1996 from J Henry Schroder and
Co. corporate finance she has been responsible for co-ordinating a pan-
European product in both the business services and technology sectors.
Her team is now ranked in the top 5 in the UK and top 6 in Europe in
both sectors. She has also been involved significantly in developing a
number of important corporate relationships with Computacenter, Sema
Group, Capita Group, Compass, Parity among others and has extensive
experience of IPOs in both the UK and Germany, rights issues and M&A
activities. She graduated from Oxford University with a degree in
Literae Humaniores in 1994 and is 27 years old. Profile
