JULIAN EASTHOPE is a Leisure analyst at UBS Warburg. He graduated with a
2(1) in accounting and finance in 1986 and has been a leisure analyst
since 1987. After spending seven years at UBS he moved to Warburgs on
the merger. In the last extel survey he, together with his colleagues,
Clare Freeman and Hannah Gledhill, were rated 1st in the Pan European
Leisure and hotels sector. His main coverage includes Granada Compass,
Hilton, Preussag, Accor and Sol Melia. He has extensive corporate
experience including the IPO's of Sol Melia, Thistle, Jarvis Hotels and
Thomson and helped in the defence of Forte against Granada. Profile
