EUGENE P. MARTINEAU was a Founder of U.S. Concrete, Inc., and has served
as its President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director since its
inception in 1998. He has over 35 years' experience in the ready-mixed
concrete and related industries. Mr. Martineau is a Director and member
of the Executive Committee of the National Ready-Mixed Concrete
Association. He served as Chairman of the NRMCA's Promotion Committee
from 1997 to 1999. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the
RMC Research Foundation and is Chairman of the Foundation's Program
Committee. Mr. Martineau also serves on the Advisory Board of the
Concrete Industry Management School at Middle Tennessee State
University. Mr. Martineau was a Founder of RMC 2000, a grassroots
industry movement, and served as its National Director from 1994 to
1997. Mr. Martineau received a BS in History from Jacksonville
University and studied for his Master's of Science in Management at
