EMMANUEL T. HERNANDEZ is Senior Vice President, Finance and
Administration and Chief Financial Officer of Cypress Semiconductor
Corporation. He is responsible for the company's worldwide financial
reporting, tax and treasury, investor relations, human resources, and
business development. Mr. Hernandez has been instrumental in solidifying
relations with the investment community and maintaining Cypress's strong
financial position. Prior to joining Cypress, Mr. Hernandez worked at
National Semiconductor from 1976-1993. While at National, he held a
variety of finance positions, culminating with his appointment to
Director of Corporate Accounting. He joined Cypress as Corporate
Controller before advancing to CFO in 1994. Mr. Hernandez graduated with
a BSC in Accounting from the University of Nueva Caceres in the
Philippines, received his CPA license from the Philippine Institute of
Certified Public Accountants, and earned his MBA in Finance from Golden
Gate University. He is also a Board member of a small-cap public
