Emerging Technologies In Energy: Robert Buderi – Mit Technology Review

ROBERT BUDERI is Editor at large for technology Review magazine. the former BusinessWeek technology editor is the author of the Engines of Tomorrow and The Invention That Changed the World 1996). Part of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation's Technology Series, the acclaimed book chronicles the story of MIT's Radiation Laboratory ' home to the development of microwave radar during World War II ' and examines radar's impact on the war and post-war science and technology. Mr. Buderi's articles have appeared in numerous national and international publications including Newsweek, Time, Sports Illustrated, The Economist, Science, Nature, and The Atlantic Monthly. He served as advisor to the British Broadcasting Corporation's Science at War documentary series, and as a member of the selection committee of the Knight Science Journalism Fellowships at MIT ' and now sits on the program's advisory board. In the fall of 2001, Mr. Buderi began a four- year term on MIT's Visiting Committee for the Humanities. While at BusinessWeek, he was a member of the team that won the 1992 National Magazine Award for the Quality Imperative. In 1986-87, Mr. Buderi was a Vannevar Bush Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
