EDWARD MONEYPENNY, senior vice president of finance and chief
financial officer for 7-Eleven, Inc., is responsible for the
company's strategic planning, corporate finance, treasury,
investor relations, accounting, tax and internal audit functions.
Mr. Moneypenny joined 7-Eleven in February 2002. Born in Long
Branch, New Jersey, he served as a first lieutenant in the United
States Army from 1967 to 1970. He earned a bachelor's degree in
accounting from St. Joseph's University in 1964 and a master's
degree in accounting science from the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign in 1967. Mr. Moneypenny also is a CPA (Certified
