E.J. ELLIOTT is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, born there in 1929. He
received his education at Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland
Marshall Law School, and served with U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He is married and lives with his wife Callie in suburban Orlando,
Florida, where they located in 1971 following the relocation of his
Corporate Headquarters from the Cleveland area to Orlando. They have
three sons and one daughter, also living in Florida. He is a person of
varied interests and, in addition to a multitude of business
involvement, is very active in business and professional associations,
organizations, and church-related projects, as well as extensive
involvement in civic and community affairs. During a business career
spanning over 40 years, Mr. Elliott has founded many successful
companies in diverse fields ranging from fast food chains, to high tech
enterprises in the fields of electronics and the nuclear sciences. He
is best recognized, however, for his activities and enterprises relating
to heavy machinery manufacturing, and highway construction, and holds
many patents relating to such, as well as on energy generation and
transfer. He is past Chairman of the Construction Industry
Manufacturers Association (CIMA) and currently serves on the Board of
virtually all national associations dealing with our national
transportation, highway construction, and the rebuilding of America's
infrastructure. He is President and Chairman of Gencor Industries,
Inc., which he founded in 1965 and is headquartered in Orlando, Florida. Profile
