DOUGLAS COLBETH has been the Webplan Board Chairman since November of
2002, and has served as a Webplan board member since January 2001. In
March 2003, he assumed the role of Webplan President and CEO. Doug is
the former Chairman and CEO of Spyglass Inc., a leading provider of
software technologies and professional services. He joined Spyglass in
1990 as President and CEO and served as Chairman and CEO from June 1999
to July 2000. Spyglass technologies are utilized inside millions of name
brand products including PCs, televisions, set-top boxes, telephones,
and numerous hand-held devices. Most notably, Spyglass technology is the
foundation of the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser. In June of 1995,
Spyglass became the first Internet software company to conduct a
successful Initial Public Offering. In March 2000, Doug negotiated the
merger of Spyglass with OpenTV Inc., at a value of $2.4 Billion. Doug
and his wife Margaret are involved in many philanthropic efforts, most
notably the establishment of The Colbeth Clinic which is operated by the
University of Illinois at Chicago Department of Psychiatry. This "state
of the art" clinic performs leading edge research and provides clinical
services to inner city children who suffer from biological brain
disorders such as autism, schizophrenia, and bi-polar depression. During
2003 The Colbeth Clinic treated over 22,000 patients. Doug began his
career in technology with Prime Computer Inc., a leading manufacturer of
mini-computers. Doug earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from
Siena College in Loudonville, New York, and studied Quantitative
Economics at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute York. While attending
R.P.I., Doug was awarded a research grant from Texas Instruments Inc. to
develop modeling software for Texas Instruments calculators. Profile
